Duration : 12 Nights / 13 Days Places Covered : Cochin - Munnar -Thekkady-Kottayam/Kumarakom- Alleppey -Kovalam - Trivandrum Day 1: Cochin Begin your tour Arrive into Cochin Welcome to your "Kerala Delight Tour" On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight : Hotel Day 2: Cochin This morning proceed on a city tour of Cochin. Visit many interesting sites like the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets etc. In the evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance performance. Overnight : Hotel Day 3: Cochin Full day free for leisure activities. Overnight : Hotel Day 4: Cochin - Munnar As part of the Kerala Delight tour, drive to the beautiful hill station of Munnar after breakfast. You will be also treated to wonderful views of the Cardamom hills and lush green tea plantations as you drive to Munnar. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in at a Hotel and relax for the remaining part of the day. Overnight : Hotel Day 5: Munnar This morning proceed on a city tour of Munnar Visit many interesting sites like the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and the town market among others. Overnight : Hotel Day 6: Munnar - Thekkady On day 6 of your tour, drive to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar / Thekkady after breakfast. Thekkady is a wonderful place to visit during a trip to Kerala. Indeed, tours to Thekkady are fast gaining popularity with every passing day. Enjoy an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. This will enable you to have a close look at the park's large variety of wildlife including elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and birds. Overnight : Hotel Day 7: Thekkady-Kottayam After breakfast drive to Kottayam. On reaching Kottayam, a centre of the Syrian Christian communtiy,Kottayam has some fine churches. Visit Valliapalli Chruch, Cheriapalli Chruch. Overnight : Hotel Day 8: Kottayam This morning after breakfast proceed on excursion to Kumarakom, a small village near Kottayam (10Kms). Treat your eyes to many lush green scenic delights as you make your way to Kumarakom. Later drive back to Kottayam and spend the remaining part of the day at leisure. You can also choose to explore the place on your own. Overnight : Hotel Day 9: Kottayam-Alleppey To experience the best of Kerala, go aboard an exciting houseboat cruise along the Kerala backwaters. Morning drive to Alleppey and check in to the houseboat on arrival. The overnight cruise takes you through Alleppey allowing you to enjoy serene surroundings en route. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served on board. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life from a close quarter. Enjoy the sunset and stay overnight on the houseboat. It will definitely be a unique and unforgettable experience for your lifetime. Overnight : Hotel Day 10: Alleppey-Kovalam After breakfast drive to Kovalam and transfer to hotel. Kovalam sea beach is the best in India and second in the world. If you want peace of mind and quiet atmosphere come and stay at Kovalam. You will get them all and more than you expectation. The sea is calm & quiet here, the shape is like a bow and it has been formed as an estuary. It is a silver coloured beach, with small ripples and excellent for sea bath. Whole atmosphere is a hilly one and shaded with papaya, banana and coconut. In Kovalam, there are innumerable palm tree. Under the dazzing blue the whole beach is covered by shade of trees. The water of the sea is also blue there. Today Kovalam is widely acclaimed in the world. Kovalam is also famous for sun bath. Overnight : Hotel Day 11: Kovalam Eleventh Day of the tour takes you to sight seeing of Thiruvananthapuram covering Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach after breakfast.
